The Permanency and Pathways team requires a dynamic, organised Team Manager willing and able to support social workers in managing complex case work effectively and contributing to service developments and innovations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in making a real difference to the lives of Looked After Children and Care Leavers. The role will involve supporting a team of 9 social workers with 1 other FTE Team Manager. Monitoring the statutory obligations of the team and driving forward standards to achieve best practice will be the primary objectives of the Team Managers in conjunction with supporting the team in undertaking statutory functions and managing case loads.
In order to be eligible to apply you must have the Social Work degree or an equivalent social work qualification, CQSW or DipSW with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience and good knowledge of relevant legislation. You will be required to demonstrate supervisory experience and a commitment to continuing professional development both your own and your team.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
