We are recruiting for the position of Team Manager for the Over 25 Disabilities Section for a 12 month period (up to January 2027).
We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people with disabilities in Conwy.
The Disability Service is a large and complex service area providing Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Specialist Sensory Services, co located Learning Disability Nursing and Psychology services, alongside a range of regulated and non regulated direct care services to children and adults with disabilities in Conwy. It is an exciting and progressive service where staff and managers are focused on ensuring that the people we support are able to live as independently as possible and achieve the things they want to in life. Every member of the team is encouraged to think about how we can support people well and to look for solutions rather than seeing barriers.
The Team Manager for the Over 25 Section is responsible for the day to day operational management and professional supervision of staff within the Over 25 team. The role ensures the delivery of safe, effective and person centred services to adults over the age of 25, with a strong focus on progression, independence and resilience. The Team Manager supports the implementation of service priorities, contributes to service development, ensures good practice, manages performance and risk, and works collaboratively with colleagues across the integrated Disability Service. The role may also provide cover for other Team Managers as required.
