Team Leader - Childrens Residential Provider Services

We are looking for two dedicated and compassionate Team Leaders to join our brand-new Residential Home in Wrexham. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new service and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.
As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting and supervising a team of Residential Childcare Officers, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, trauma‑informed care. You will lead by example, promote best practice, and create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the residential team.
Ensure children and young people receive consistent, person‑centred support.
Maintain a safe, nurturing and structured home environment.
Lead and contribute to care planning, reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
Support staff development through mentoring, supervision, and reflective practice.
Promote a culture that recognises and responds to trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Ensure the home meets regulatory and organisational standards.
