About the rolePay Details: Grade 8, SCP 26-30, £36,134 - £39,513, £18.72-£20.48ph
Hours of Work / Working Pattern : Monday to Friday 37 hours
Main Place of Work : Community Enterprise Centre, Barry

Description: Providing day to day operational oversight of the service that includes supervision and caseload management for a team of TAF Workers, managing statistical information on referral data, report writing and ensuring the service is achieving successful outcomes.
About youYou will need:
Experience:- 4 years' experience of working directly in Family Support.
- Experience of partnership work and working with multi agency teams.
- Experience of supervising and leading a team.
- Experience of participating in inter-agency meetings.
- Experience of evaluating outcomes.
- Experience of report writing.
- Experience of providing quality assurance.
Knowledge:- Competent in the Principles of the Children Act 1989.
- Competent in the Social Services and Wellbeing Wales Act (2014).
- Competent in child protection and an understanding of the referral process.
- Competent in child development.
- Competent in using a range of evaluation tools.
Skills and Aptitudes:- Effective management and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Ability to chair meetings.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate information.
- Ability to plan work and set priorities.
- Ability to reflect on own practice and recognise areas of improvement.
