The role of the team involves supporting and assisting people with a variety of conditions including learning disabilities, older people, and dementia and people with physical and emotional needs to participate in opportunities that are valued, meaningful and enable the individual to achieve identified outcomes.
Candidates will have a positive, valuing and empowering attitude with an adaptable and respectful approach in working alongside individuals with learning disabilities and older people. This role involves supporting people to engage in activities to promote independence and maintain skills in the following areas:
- Independent living skills
- Sport & Leisure
- Digital & IT
- Creative skills
- Social Interaction & Communication
Candidates for the post will have QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 or a willingness to undertake the qualification.
