Work base: Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay
Conwy's Safeguarding and Legal team is dedicated to supporting children and their families by ensuring safety and positive outcomes. The team offers a supportive work environment with access to specialized resources and professional development opportunities.
Salaries that fit with experience We are seeking experienced social workers, with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience. You will meet the Level 3 requirements of the job description.
• You will be paid between £40,777 - £44,075 depending on your experience. • You will receive a welcome payment of £3,300 with 50% of the payment made in the first monthly pay and the remaining 50% will be paid on the month following successful completion of your probation period (terms and conditions apply). • Commitment to child safety and support: The team aims to enhance social workers' capacity by reducing caseloads and increasing resources to better serve children and families. We provide services for children needing protection, involved in legal proceedings, or adoption planning. • Supportive work environment: Social workers benefit from a motivated team, experienced managers, regular supervision, and legal advisors. Resources include a residential assessment centre and access to consultant psychologists.
