We have a Shift Lead opportunity in Swansea and one in Llanelli. Please state your preferred location on your application.
What you’ll do:
As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding, person-centred care and be involved in day to day duties. You’ll support the Team Manager by coaching and mentoring colleagues, ensuring high standards of support, and leading shifts with confidence and compassion.
In addition to day to day duties from you’ll have protected time to complete delegated duties such as:
Supervisions and competency assessments
Supporting clinical and therapeutic tasks (e.g., PEG care, stoma/catheter care)
Collaborating with families, health professionals, and MDTs
Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are met

About you:
You’re an experienced support worker with a background supporting vulnerable adult. You’re confident in leading shifts, mentoring others, and making decisions that positively impact the lives of those we support.
Essential skills and experience:
Experience supporting vulnerable adults
Strong communication and decision making skills
Ability to work flexibly across shifts (including weekends and holidays)
Registered or working towards registration with Social Care Wales
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
