1 x 37-hour Senior Support Worker Post
Tir Einon is an award-winning Learning Disability Service based in Llanelli that offers a vibrant and happy place to work with an experienced and welcoming team. We offer short breaks to Adults with Learning Disabilities, and we are usually busy working with lots of different people with varying needs, no day is ever the same, and if putting a smile on someone's face makes your day then this is the job for you!

We are looking for a passionate, positive, and motivated individual who is experienced in leading a team in a person-centred way whilst maintaining standards. Able to support and delegate when appropriate in the absence of service management, providing guidance and motivation to the staff team, promoting good practice, and high standards of support and care.
You will be required to supervise and appraise staff using the local authority's policy and procedures, and work flexibly to people's needs, liaising with parents, carers and staff and other agencies.
You will be required to write, review, and update person centred plans and risk assessments promoting positive behaviour support, active support, and intensive interaction, ensuring the staff team understand and work consistently following written interventions.
Your shifts will be a regular pattern on a rolling rota to ensure work life balance and this will include some weekends and evenings.
