Key Responsibilities:
Leading shifts to provide direct care and support to children in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Help to create and implement tailored Personal Plans to meet the individual needs of each child. Formal Supervision of Therapeutic Care Practitioners Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues to build trust and ensure consistent care. Transport children to appointments, activities, and outings as required. Use IT systems to document care activities and track progress accurately.
Your Qualifications: L3 Health and Social Care Children & Young People (or working towards). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience looking after children in Residential Childcare. Valid manual driver’s licence and experience in driving. Knowledge of childcare practices and developing care plans. Proficient in using IT applications relevant to care management.
