Safeguarding Coordinator (Children's)

What you will do:
Coordinate and minute complex meetings such as Child Protection Conferences, Professional Strategy Meetings and Child Exploitation Strategy Meetings.
• Act as the first point of contact for partner agencies, safeguarding administration and respond to a range of telephone/written enquiries/check requests on registers/information systems and undertake associated tasks including processing incoming/ outgoing mail.
• Draft recommendations letters following Child Protection Case Conferences, identifying the relevant information from the discussion which forms the basis of the Child Protection Plan.
• Ensure compliance with, compilation and reporting of timely and accurate performance indicator statistics.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and security and ensure that all records are maintained to comply with the requirements of GDPR.
