Social Worker - Mental Health

About the role:
Adult Social Care are currently seeking to employ appropriately qualified AMHP Social Workers to join the Community Mental Health Teams across Powys. Applications from individuals who have or are working with people experiencing mental health issues and those who are qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) would meet the varying demands of the service. An additional payment of £3000 per annum is paid to AMHPs who work within the daytime rota to meet the Council's statutory requirement in respect of Mental Health Act Assessments. Staff within the CMHTs are co-located with Health Board colleagues. We offer a hybrid model of working between home and office base.
