Carmarthenshire County Council is looking for compassionate and committed
Residential Childcare Workers - Waking Nights to support children and young people in our short break and residential homes.
You'll be part of a team that nurtures, supports, and inspires children and young people to reach their full potential. Experience is not essential, as we offer a comprehensive induction and training package, including support to attain a Level 3 in Working with Children and Young People, if you don't already have this.
You'll work overnight shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, sometimes at short notice. It's an ideal role for those looking for rewarding work that fits around other commitments. In return, you'll gain valuable experience, and the chance to grow in a career that truly matters.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk
