An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our team at Maesglas Community Support Unit.We are looking to employ a part time -28-hour Residential Care Officer to support the delivery of the Temporary and Emergency accommodation service.
- The service has 10 beds and supports people with a learning disability, who have a wide range of care and support needs, who require emergency accommodation, for a variety of reasons, until they move onto their future permanent home.
- The service supports people to meet their outcomes and goals, ensuring that what matters to the person is most important.
- The service is unique and dynamic in its approach, focussing mainly on supporting people to move into their forever home.

- You will be part of a dynamic team.
- You will be supported to do the right training, to gain the relevant understanding, knowledge and skills for the role.
- You will receive regular supervision and guidance to help you along the way, offering you support and encouragement within your new role and an opportunity to discuss aspects of the role with your manager.
- You will work 4 days a week on a rota basis, to include mornings, afternoons, weekends, nights and bank holidays.
