This will involve activities of daily living such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation and medication. The service is lead by Occupational Therapists and you would be delivering client centred, goal orientated support and interventions as directed by the OT.
We will also be right sizing care packages supporting individuals to reach their maximum potential and identifying long term care and support needs.
We cover the whole of Pembrokeshire and have a two week rolling rota. The shift pattern is 7.30am -1pm and 5pm -9.30pm 7 days a week. Mon Tues and Sat Sunday on week 1 and Wed, Thurs and Friday on week 2. Evening and weekend working will attract additional enhancements and you would have every other weekend off. You will be supplied with a uniform, a work phone, travel allowance or work van and ongoing training.
The job is varied and interesting and you may also be required to cover other services such as our Domiciliary Service further expanding your skills and knowledge.
NVQ 2 is a requirement of the post but full training will be given if you don't have it. You will be required to register with Social Care Wales for this post.
