PLANNING & COMMISSIONING OFFICER (Capital Co-ordination and Development)
G09 £35,745 - £38,223 per annum
Permanent - 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join the Planning & Commissioning Team (Adult Social Care).
The Team lead on strategic commissioning within the Social Care Department and are responsible for taking forward major change projects.
The post holder will have experience in project management, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of change management. You will be expected to work in a way that supports delivery of a co-productive commissioning agenda, and will have experience of engaging and working with, and for, people who use services. The post-holder will be able to analyse a range of research material and apply its findings in order to support the achievement of positive outcomes for the citizens of Wrexham.
We are looking for this role to focus on the Capital co-ordination and development for the department. Experience of working on capital projects, strategy writing/development and an understanding of Green Book Treasury Business Case processes would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with Health partners, community, Third Sector and Independent Sector organisations in order to support the implementation of the Departmental Commissioning Strategies and Council Priorities.
