With over two thirds of our Children Looked After in the care of foster carers, improving outcomes for Children Looked After must start with improving foster care.
We are keen to welcome an enthusiastic Social Worker into the team, to enhance the support we provide to our foster carers and work alongside experienced members of staff whilst we endeavour to recruit and retain foster carers within the service.
The posts are based at the Civic Centre, Pontypool and also involve spending time working from home and visiting foster carers.
You will be joining a well-established team of experienced Social Workers, Community Support Workers and other professionals, with an experienced management team.
