Multi-agency working is a significant feature of the Children and Family Services approach to service delivery, and you will be joining an innovative team and working in a progressive, committed and learning environment where practitioners are supported and valued.
About the role:We support children from pre-birth up to 15 years and our key role is to ensure that children remain with their families where possible and to ensure that children's needs are being met appropriately and their voices heard. A strengths-based approach is promoted within the MASSH and the role of the Community Support Worker is essential to the functioning and service delivery of the team. The job will entail undertaking enquiries with parents\/carers and wider agencies to assist with managerial decision making, undertaking Care and Support Assessments and assisting Social Workers with their duties.

- 3 Assistant Team Managers
- 6 Social Workers
- 4 Community Support Workers
- 7 Family Intervention Workers (Rapid Response Team)
- 1 Referral Team Leader
- 1 Referral Officer
Applicants will need to have experience of working with children and families and possess a good knowledge and understanding of the physical, social, emotional, psychological and educational development of children, young people and their families.
