The post will play an essential role in achieving good outcomes for Pembrokeshire's looked after and accommodated children through providing a high standard quality assurance and statutory reviewing service. As IRO you will have responsibility for delivering the statutory reviewing function for young people looked after by the Local Authority, ensuring plans for all children are appropriate, timely and high quality with the voice of the child at the centre.
As Child Protection Chair, you will be responsible for chairing multi agency child protection conferences, ensuring children living in high risk situations are protected and their needs are met.
