About the jobAs an Improvement Project Manager, you will be responsible for responsible for managing and delivering transformation and improvement project activity across the Directorate, as well as working alongside and providing high level support to our senior management teams.
One of the main focusses for this post is to be responsible for ensuring objective, fair and professional investigations in line with the Council Employee Relations Policies (e.g. Disciplinary, Grievance, Dignity at work) including the investigation and presentation of the findings at the relevant Hearings.
You should have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be responsible for working with Senior Managers on Improvement projects, and ad-hoc requests.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe successful candidate will have positive attitude and be able to meet delivery goals in the fast paced environment of Children's Services. They will have experience working in a Local Authority setting and working with senior managers.
The successful candidate will Ensure that all investigations are fair and objective in obtaining the facts of the allegation in a thorough and timely manner. The post holder will be responsible for agreeing any extension of this period with the employee and or their representative.
This will be a challenging but rewarding role, contributing to the work of Children's Services, making a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
