The Support 4 Families Team are essential in helping families get the right help at the right time. That's why we are developing our early intervention and prevention services to make sure families can access a range of services and tiered support to prevent the need for statutory social work intervention.
Working within Support for Families Services, you will be providing support across the section, working collaboratively with colleagues and all partners, you will be providing hands on support that enables a person centred approach to planning and preparing for transition.
What We Are Looking For From YouYou will bring with you experience of working with children and young people, experience of working with multi-agency professionals, skills in assessment and planning and have a flexible approach as the service develops. An understanding of the relevant legislation for children, including an overview of the Social Services and Well Being Act and some knowledge of Signs of Safety would be beneficial.
You will be competent in risk assessing the needs of individuals, using systems to record information and delivering care plans. You will be responsible for reviewing quality of care and establishing plans that are person centred and enabling. You should be prepared to undertake appropriate training to support you in your role and be able to work within a team.
