Experienced Social Worker G10 £41,771 - £45,091 per annum
Applications are sought from Qualified Social Workers for the post of Experienced Social Worker (G10) within the Adult Single Point of Access (SPOA). This is an exciting opportunity to work within the front door of Adult Social Care. The successful candidate will have a wide range of practice experience and knowledge. They will need to demonstrate a good understanding of how Information, Advice and Assistance can support the citizens of Wrexham.
The Adult Safeguarding and DOLS team sit within Adult Social care. The team is responsible for ensuring that referrals to Adult Social care are screened, actioned as appropriate, including the provision of a person-centred What Matters conversation and offer of Information, Advice and Assistance, signposting or knowledge and awareness of community based support is provided.
The Experienced Social Worker is part of a team that operates a duty system and will be required to undertake duty on a rota basis, respond immediately and effectively to cases that arise, understand the recording system to identify the case and those who may/may not be involved including other professionals.
The role works alongside a team of Assistant Team Managers, Social Care Assessors, Social Workers and First Contact Advisors. An Enhanced DBS check & Social Care Wales registration is required for this position.
