Following recent expansion of our Occupational Therapy Service we are looking for highly motivated experienced Occupational Therapists with proven knowledge and skills in the following specialism; Reablement & Integrated Prevention Service You will be a key member of the Occupational Therapy team, carrying out high quality assessments and complex interventions in line with the legislation relevant to your specialism. You will support citizens of Wrexham to return or to remain in their home, or in the most appropriate environment, taking into account their safety and wellbeing empowering them to have voice and control over their preferred outcomes. The Occupational Therapy team is involved in a number of projects to improve services for our citizens including integrated working across the whole system. These projects and partnerships across Wrexham benefit a whole cross section of the community so it is an exciting time to join the team and contribute to shaping services for the future. There may be the opportunity to work in other areas of the team to support your career development. You will be a key member of the Occupational Therapy team acting as a role model and offering mentorship in your area of specialism. You will be supported and supervised by the HCPC registered OT management team. The Occupational Therapy profession is highly valued within WCBC and there are opportunities for progression into higher management.
