Early Years Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:

Create a safe, inclusive, and caring environment for all children

Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities

Observe, assess, and record children’s development

Promote children’s emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times

Work in partnership with parents, carers, and colleagues

Use and promote the Welsh language throughout daily practice


Essential Criteria:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent

Confident Welsh speaker

Knowledge of early childhood development

Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety

Positive, caring, and team-focused approach
