This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of £10,722 (£12.85 per hour) and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Castle View Residential Home is seeking to recruit 1 x 16 hour Domestic Assistant to work over a 7 day week which will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota pattern. There will be opportunities to work additional hours.
We are looking for the right person who can join our team that promotes a homely, warm atmosphere where we strive to make a positive difference to peoples lives.
You will be required to carry out your duties which can include working in the kitchen, laundry or cleaning in a dignified / respectful manner. Experience of working in a care environment and knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety Act and Health and Safety would be beneficial although not essential.
You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity, choice etc. adopt a person-centred approach and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.
For the role, we ask that you have: - The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
