We're looking for a dedicated Direct Payments Advisor to join our dynamic team and help coordinate high-quality care provision for individuals across Carmarthenshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at the heart of care planning and service delivery.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Direct Payments Advisor, you will:
Access assessments and care plans via our Eclipse system to negotiate and coordinate the provision of Direct Payments to meet the needs of service users in Carmarthenshire
Ensure Direct Payment Recipients receive all required documentation before services begin.
Be expected to handle all enquires to establish the best course of action, whilst being aware of the potential impact on the recipient.
Support the Personal Assistant matching process
Work collaboratively with professionals, teams, and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate IT and paper records to support commissioning, monitoring, and reporting.
Prioritise urgent referrals to enable individuals' choice and control is maintained.
Ensure employee forms are completed and the contracts of employment set up by the Direct Payment recipients are correct in line with budget expenditure.
