- Ensure that commissioned services are delivering value for money and meeting legislative and contract requirements
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise a varied workload, which includes visiting care providers and other partners across Pembrokeshire and further afield
- Actively participate in learning and training opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge in Commissioning and related topics
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience of children's services and commissioning but very much would welcome applications from people who have transferrable skills and experience in areas such as: - co-production with people with lived experience; experience of working in care and support services; service development and improvement; quality assurance; managing complex working relationships; and/or contract management.
The post sits within a supportive and diverse team of commissioning colleagues who support a range of social care and third sector providers to develop personalised support, which ensures that the person's voice is central to all decision making. Our service areas include, older people, working age people with Learning Disabilities, Children, Neurodiversity, Mental Health, Housing Related Services, Unpaid Carers and Advocacy.
