This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Services team.
We pay an attractive salary of £11,818.70 - £12,638.43 and offer access to training and development opportunities.The main purpose of the role is to support the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of individuals, using a person-centred approach to promote choice and independence whilst making peoples' days enjoyable and meaningful.
It takes a special kind of person to undertake the role of a Day Services Assistant. You must be caring, dependable, motivated, and friendly. For the role, we ask that you have: - A Level 2 qualification in Care on the Credit and Qualifications Framework or the commitment and ability to attain the qualification within 1 year of appointment (subject to availability of training).
- An understanding of disability issues such as empowerment, choice, and advocacy.
- Ability to assist with personal care and hygiene while respecting an individual's privacy and dignity
