Main Place of Work: Penarth

Description:Be responsible for the general management of the kitchen and for providing meals for older people in a residential setting in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.

About you
You will need:

• Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)


• Experience of larger scale catering operation


• Understanding of Special dietary requirements e.g. diabetic, vegetarian,high protein


• Cooking skills and the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen assistants


• The ability to plan menus and organise work environment


• Be able to use their own initiate


• Good standard of the English language both verbally and in writing


• Good numeral skills
