Job description
About the Role This is an opportunity to join a busy and friendly team within the Social Services department. The team covers a range of services across Adults and Childrens Social Care - domiciliary care, residential care, supported living, day care and other services from third sector providers. The postholder for this contract will focus on researching, designing, and implementing digital services across the department, utilising the latest technology (including Artificial Intelligence) to improve Social Care services for citizens of Wrexham and bring efficiencies to the department. We are looking for a person who has experience of managing projects, is knowledgeable about implementing digital solutions, is motivated to bring about change, and has excellent communication skills.
Strong report writing skills are required, as you will be writing reports for a range of stakeholders. You must also be able to understand and use legislation, regulations and policy to support the digital initiatives and ensure they remain within legal and ethical guidelines.
