Come and join our team We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Child and Family Practitioner to join our team. This role sits within our
Early Help Team, a preventative service providing tailored support to children and young people with disabilities and their families.
A core part of your role will involve supporting statutory cases open to the 0-25 Disability Service. You will take a person-centred and strength-based approach, offering evidence-informed guidance relevant to each child's individual needs. Support may include:
- Positive Behaviour Support
• Sensory processing strategies
• Sleep hygiene and routine development
• Enhancing communication and social interaction
• Building independence and essential life skills
Collaboration is key. You will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, maintaining strong communication and joint working with social workers and a range of other professionals.
We are looking for someone who has experience delivering parenting programmes or targeted interventions that support behavioural change. Strong communication, observational skills, and the ability to build trust with both families and professionals are essential.
Working Hours:This role is full-time, Monday to Thursday, 8:45am - 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:45am - 4:30pm, under our flexible working policy. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Requirements:• Must hold a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
