Your Role
As Care Home Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of two small care homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and support. You will lead and empower a dedicated team, fostering a positive and nurturing environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Inspiring Leadership – Guide and develop your team, ensuring excellence in care delivery. Resident Well-Being – Champion independence, dignity, and safeguarding for every resident. Quality & Compliance – Uphold and exceed industry regulations and best practices. Team Development – Foster a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. Operational Oversight – Manage budgets, resources, and home safety with efficiency. What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Proven management experience in a similar setting (e.g., Deputy Manager, Senior Team Leader). Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. Strong background in budgeting and financial management. Familiarity with compliance audits and evidence-based practices. Skills & Attributes:
Excellent leadership and motivational skills. Strong organisational and communication abilities. IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word). Deep commitment to safeguarding, DoLS, and the Mental Capacity Act. Other Requirements:
Physically fit for the role’s demands. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Enhanced DBS check. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and on-call duties. Why Join Us?
