Wrexham Occupational Therapy Team has a full time vacancy within a well-established and supportive team at Assistant Team Manager Grade in the long term team This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your management skills in order: • To provide advice on professional practice. • To manage the OT team through its procedures and activities so that it provides an efficient and high quality service for its clients in line with legislative responsibility. • To ensure that the team's approach is sensitive and appropriate to individual needs • To deputise for the Team Manager when required. There is a commitment to support CPD with monthly sessions and an active training programme. The team offers flexible working within the work life balance policy which offers the opportunity to accrue extra leave via the flexi system. We are looking to recruit an experienced OT with a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience, having worked across a range of services and client groups supported by social care including children, older people, learning disabilities, complex housing & adaptations and moving & handling. The successful applicant will be HCPC registered. You will be working in client's own homes with multi-disciplinary teams including social care, housing, education and health providers to ensure the best outcomes for your client s and their carers. You must have experience of supervising qualified staff, managing complex caseloads and a commitment to develop your management and leadership skills.
