Adoption Mid and West Wales (AMWW) is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Team Manager (ATM).
The ATM will hold a small, complex caseload and fulfil the supervisory role to a limited number of Social Workers in our Adoption Service (WEST) - a busy team with responsibility assessing prospective adopters, family finding and matching among other statutory functions
AMWW is a regional adoption collaboration (RAC) across 4 neighbouring local Authorities, Powys, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire as the host authority.
The RAC prides itself on achieving permanence for children from across the region and this would be your opportunity to work with a committed and experienced team in supporting children and adopters.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk
Welsh language level - verbal Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
