This is a full-time role where you'll play a key part in supporting Children's Services by helping to secure safe, nurturing placements for children and young people across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll:
- Liaise with a wide range of professionals, both internally and externally, including fostering and residential providers.
- Build strong networks to ensure clear, consistent communication that supports timely and appropriate placements.
- Be mindful of budgets and use your negotiation skills to secure the best outcomes.
- Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure children's individual needs are met.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records and contribute to planning and decision-making processes.
- Carry out contract monitoring in line with agreed principles and guidance.
