We are looking to recruit a number of individuals to support a female client within her own home.
Can you work on a one to one basis? Can you offer flexibility?
Do you have what it takes to ensure the client and their needs are the centre of your focus?
You will be required to:-
• Ensure that you play a role in providing a flexible, reliable, responsive and person centred service which meets the identified and assessed needs of the individual living in the community. • Undertake or assist with personal care tasks such as helping with personal hygiene such as washing, continence care, assisting with dressing/undressing, getting up and going to bed, assisting with feeding as required and such simple home care tasks that might be undertaken by a family member or a friend. • Informing the management team of any difficulties/problems experienced in undertaking their duties, including sickness/holidays or other absences. Appropriate training and expert supervision must always be provided in these cases. • Support and encourage individuals that are in receipt of services in all areas of his/her life with particular emphasis upon maintaining and increasing independence wherever this is realistically possible. • Carry out or assist with, in accordance with instructions received, any work involved in the day to day running of a individuals household, including domestic tasks which may include shopping, washing, ironing, cleaning, maintaining heating systems and preparing meals.
To ensure we meet the ends of the lovely lady we will be supporting you are required to undertake a sleep in. Within this time you are required to get up at approximately 3am for repositioning of legs and a drink.
You must be a UK resident and hold a UK full driving license
