Caerphilly Supported Living Scheme seeks to recruit 3 x 25hr Social Care Worker contracts to work within the Scheme in the Risca area. The focuses being to provide care and support that promotes choice and independence for an individual with a learning disability and achieve better outcomes to live life well.

Are you effective at building positive work relationships with other team members? Can you communicate your ideas with genuine passion, commitment and flexibility that will enhance team performance in Supported Living

 
The successful applicant will need to have experience of working in a care setting, be able to adopt a motivated, committed, and flexible approach to duties, this involves regularly weekend working, sleeping’s, and bank holidays.

 
The successful applicant must be in receipt of or be committed to attaining Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, within 1 year of appointment, (subject to availability of training).

The Social Care Wales (Registration) Rules 2022 set out the requirement for all residential childcare workers, domiciliary care workers, adult care home workers, residential family centre workers to be registered with Social Care Wales by 30th September 2023.

 

 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all successful applicants.  This will include an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
