We are recruiting for Service Manager for Newport/Caerphilly Area, this is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. We provide support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism and physical disabilities. We do that in a number of ways from providing 24-hour support within their own homes, to providing shorter, more focused support to assist with individual tasks or care needs, which are often determined in conjunction with Social Services.
As a Service Manager, you will have responsibility for managing the staff team and the service. This includes planning rotas, dealing with expense claims, management of staff and deputing in the Area Manager’s absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their career and although previous management experience is highly desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
