Day Service Assistant Bridgend County Borough Council

We provide a range of day services from Bridgend Resource Centre and our Community Hubs for people who are vulnerable and have a learning disability and for people who are older.

Working as a Day Service Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of personal care tasks to meet individual need and to provide support in a range of settings both in the community and specialist service settings.

Caring and sensitive, you will be able to communicate appropriately with people at different levels of ability and be prepared to undertake appropriate training.  To be effective in this role, you will be a team player and have an understanding of the issues surrounding disability, ideally supported by experience in this area.

Joining our existing staff team, flexibility is key as you will cover for absences due to holidays and sickness.
