£10.00 - £10.83 per hour / Part Time

The Community Wellbeing Team is a domiciliary care provider that supports individuals in their own homes across the Neath Port Talbot County Borough. We work closely with health colleagues to ensure that individuals are given a Reablement pathway to enable them to remain as independent as they can in their own homes as well as offering a short and long term service.

We would like to invite you to apply to be a member of the team helping to deliver a variety of care needs to our individuals who have become unwell or lost their skills and confidence for living independently. We provide a high standard of personal care and support to people within their own home. You will be supported in the community by supervisors and therapists to deliver and achieve outcomes for individuals by following planned programmes of therapy and care from support plans. As a provider we need to ensure the delivery of a high quality service in line with Registration and Inspections Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, statutory duties, policies, and procedures.

To undertake this rewarding role, applicants must have experience of working with individuals in need of care or support in a health and social care setting or caring for a close friend or family member. An understanding of supporting people living with dementia would be beneficial however training will be provided. Successful applicants must register as a Domiciliary Care Worker with Social Care Wales. (Registration and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.)

You must have QCF qualification Level 2 in Care or be willing to work towards the qualification within a specified period of time, hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle insured for Class 1 business use. It is essential that the applicant can travel extensively within the NPT authority.
