We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team on 35 hour per week contract

Duties will include:

Preparing meals for our residents in line with current guidelines and nutritional needs alongside our Head Chef, taking charge in their absence.
Supporting the Head Chef with ad-hoc duties as required
Preparing and serving light breakfasts to our residents
Assisting residents in the dining room
Ad-hoc Kitchen assistant duties
Maintaining health and hygiene standards in the kitchens
Providing drinks for our residents via trolley service around the home
Greeting residents and their families
Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable, but not essential
You must be flexible to cover a variety of shifts, and willing and able to work over 7 days including weekends. Typical shift is 8am-5.30pm
Due to the nature of this post, a referenceable work history is required along with an enhanced DBS disclosure
Preferably, you will hold at least a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and great understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.
