Bank Shifts – Support Worker Challenging Behaviour – Neath Your new company My client is looking for Support Workers to help fill their bank shifts and cover staff sickness and absences. They are looking for dedicated and caring people who have a resilient spirit and compassionate nature. The organisation is long standing in the care of those with living with Learning Disabilities and complex mental health issues. They are passionate about ensuring their service users are cared for and supported at all times, and need good Support Workers to help them on this mission.Your new role This job will have various different elements that will include spending time and supporting service users in their everyday activities. It can include helping to prepare meals and cleaning. There are elements of personal care in this role. They will need support with medication, and will need support when going out into the community Individuals in this service can display challenging behaviour, and may need support to return to base line. it is important that you are resilient and calm in these situation. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this job you will need to have experience working in Social Care sector and have to have a caring and compassionate nature. PBM training is desirable. but not essential. You will need to be resilient and experience working with challenging behaviour would be beneficial.
