Guaranteed interview scheme

We want to help you create a talent pool of social care workers.

Sign up for employers

About the scheme

This scheme is available to help anyone who’s completed the Introduction to social care programme get an interview, making it easier for them to get a job in social care.

  • This scheme is a partnership with social care employers across Wales to help both people looking for jobs and employers.
  • It speeds up the hiring process, and gives them the advantage over other people applying for the same jobs.
  • It also helps employers find people who are really interested in social care work.

How it works

At the end of the three-day Introduction to social care programme you will have access to our guaranteed interview scheme giving you the opportunity to arrange an interview directly with employers signed up to the scheme.

You will be able to filter these opportunities on the jobs portal page here.

Remember to read the advert carefully to ensure you meet the essential criteria to apply.

How it works for employers

  • Sign up to the guaranteed interview scheme
  • Once you have received confirmation register or sign in as an employer on the WeCare Wales website
  • Upload your jobs and tick the guaranteed interview box.
  • Include the agreed wording in your advert to show you are part of the scheme:
  • "We are part of the WeCare Wales guaranteed interview scheme. Please follow any eligibility guidance in the advert and send a copy of your Introduction to social care certificates. We will be in touch when we have received your information."
  • Add clear eligibility rules to access the offer e.g. need a UK driving licence.

Employer list

This employer list is for people who have completed the Introduction to social care course.
“It’s an excellent scheme that gives a strong induction to the sector. The people we’ve hired so far have excellent attitudes, good understanding of their new roles and have bright futures ahead of them.”
Richard Barnes, Head of Talent Attraction at Pobl
