Making a difference to children’s development is Peter’s priority. He’s passionate about bringing joy to the lives of disadvantaged children. Peter, originally from Hungary, trained as a primary school teacher before moving on to working with children in social care.
Question 1: How varied is your job?
One day I am riding bikes, another day I am swimming, the next I am in the cinema, so extremely varied!
Question 2: What is the most important characteristic you need to work with children in care?
Passion. Passion is what takes you forward.
Question 3: What is the most challenging part of your job?
Being able to understand what the young people have been though in order to understand their situations and connect with them.
