Question 1: What do you love most about your job?
“For me, it’s the service users. They have become part of my life, and part of my family, and vice versa.”
Question 2: What does your day-to-day job involve?
“A little bit of everything, to be honest! We do everything – we’re half-nurse, we’re half-cleaner. We are everything in one person, but I wouldn’t change it at all.”
Question 3: What would you say to somebody considering a career in care?
“I would say, go for it. You don’t need experience to get into care, you need the ability to care for others and treat them as human beings. If you can do that, you won’t look back.”
