Dan Luffman

Daytime Service Support Worker

Dan works predominantly with people with complex support requirements and/or behaviour which may challenge. He is sport and fitness crazy so is paired with people who have similar interests.

Question 1: Do you think we need more men working in the sector?

“Definitely. I didn’t realise there was a shortage, but I’ve been here for 12 years and I was outnumbered when I first started. I think there are a lot of males out there who can bring a lot to this job.”

Question 2: What do you love most about the people you support?

“I really enjoy our days out. We’ll go to the gym because we’ve both got an interest in keeping fit and I’ll help them out with weights and running and give them advice.”
