Bydd deilydd y swydd yn gweithio’n annibynnol ac fel aelod o dîm i gynorthwyo i ddarparu ymyraethau a chymorth uniongyrchol, hyblyg, ymarferol a seiliedig ar dystiolaeth i blant/pobl ifanc a’u teuluoedd.  Yn eich rôl, bydd disgwyl i chi gyfrannu at dîm sy’n tyfu wrth i broses y strategaeth ymyrraeth gynnar ac atal wreiddio yn y ddarpariaeth leol. Gweithio ochr yn ochr â phlant/gofalwyr plant a phobl ifanc i ddatblygu cryfderau teuluoedd. Drwy rymuso teuluoedd byddant yn ceisio eu harfogi i wneud penderfyniadau seiliedig ar wybodaeth a chymryd cyfrifoldeb am eu bywydau eu hunain. Bydd gofyn i chi weithio’n agos ag ystod eang o asiantaethau a sicrhau bod gan deuluoedd a gweithwyr proffesiynol wybodaeth gywir a chyfredol am y gwasanaeth Tîm o Amgylch y Teulu a gwasanaethau eraill ar yr ynys.  
Bydd deilydd y swydd yn gweithio ar sail 1:1 neu mewn sefyllfa grŵp gyda phlant, pobl ifanc a/neu eu teuluoedd. Byddant yn gweithio mewn ystod o leoliadau e.e. ysgolion, cartrefi, y gymuned a bydd ganddynt wybodaeth a phrofiad cadarn o ddiogelu plant a dilyn gweithdrefnau a phrotocolau er mwyn sicrhau fod diogelwch y plant o’r pwys mwyaf.
