Job description

  • About the Role

  •  37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Supported Living for people wanting to make a real difference to the lives of people in our community. We help individuals who have enhanced complex needs including learning disabilities to maintain their tenancies and live independently within their own homes. We help people to feel a part of their community; to maximise their wellbeing and achieve their personal goals.

We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated candidates who have empathy and respect. The ideal candidate will appreciate the differences in others and strive to deliver a person-centred service. They will work well as part of a team and on their own initiative; and be able to follow plans and break down barriers to ensure outcomes are achieved. They will be flexible in their approach and committed to making a positive difference.

You will be based on site in one of the supported living houses and qualified preferably to NVQ level 2 or the ability and commitment to achieve this qualification within a set time frame.

    The successful applicants will:

    • Have passion and the commitment to work in partnership with other colleagues and to ensure that the service provision is person centred, reliable and dignified.

    • Meet the full requirements of the role as identified in the Job Description (available on request)

You will receive a comprehensive induction and training to support you in your role.

For an information discussion about the role, please contact Julie Harrison or Charlotte Tiley before submitting your application.

For further enquiries about the role, contact Charlotte Tiley [email protected]

An enhanced DBS & Social Council for Wales registration is required for this position

The Council is committed to developing its bilingual workforce and welcomes applications from candidates who demonstrate their capability to work in both English and Welsh.

Applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, religious belief or age.
