About the role
Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed.
We are looking to recruit a Support Officer: Technology Enabled Care and Sensory Services, on a permanent contract, under the general direction of the Technology Enabled Care and Sensory Services Team Manager, based at Penmorfa Centre for Independent Living, in Aberaeron.
A successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and conducting the delivery and installation of Telecare and Assistive Technology equipment within people’s homes and care settings, as well as supporting residents visiting the Penmorfa Centre for Independent Living.
We are looking to recruit an individual who has:
- experience of working directly with members of the public, service users, carers, and partner agencies
- the ability to work, efficiently, independently and manage a varied workload
- practical and technical skills and an interest in TEC and Assistive Technology
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and work well with staff at all levels
- experience of using IT systems and importance of maintaining accurate record keeping
- awareness of Health and Safety regulations
- a full driving licence and good general knowledge of the geography of Ceredigion
