Overall job purpose
The Social Worker works in the community/hospital with families and individuals who need assistance with personal, practical or emotional problems in pursuance of the prime purpose of the department. They will be assigned to special client groups or to particular work settings. In some circumstances, the Worker will be assigned to specific tasks wither within the specialism or work settings.
