This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.
We pay an attractive salary of £40,444 - £43,149 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
This post attracts a Market Supplement of £3,551 per annum, in addition to the annual salary, which will be paid in 12 monthly instalments.
Join our dedicated 16+ Team and play a key role in supporting young people in care and care leavers to achieve positive outcomes. You will manage complex cases, lead on contextual safeguarding and risk management. Working collaboratively with young people, families and partner agencies, you will champion high-quality, relationship-based practice, ensure statutory responsibilities are met, and contribute to the ongoing development of services that make a real difference to the lives of care-experienced young people.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Diploma/Degree in Social Work or predecessor.
- A minimum of 1 years experience working with children and young people their families and carers.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings.

The current registration requirements state that completion of the Consolidation of Practice qualification within your first 3 years of practice is mandatory (if you qualified after 1st April 2016). Failure to successfully complete this qualification will result in you being unable to renew your Social Work Registration or practice as a Social Worker.
